January 2025 Potluck

On January 12th, we kicked off our potluck event with great enthusiasm and an incredible turnout. Around 60 individuals joined us for an afternoon filled with learning, delicious food, and vibrant community spirit. The event began with an engaging food demonstration by Chloe Sutliffe, BS, LMT, CHWC, who showcased the art of preparing plant-based dishes that are as nutritious as they are flavourful.

Following the demo, we were treated to an inspiring presentation by Jay Sutliffe, PhD, RD, who delved into the profound impact that a plant-based diet can have on our health. His insights left everyone motivated to embrace healthier choices as we embark on 2025.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the potluck feast itself. Attendees brought an array of plant-based dishes, creating a spread that was as diverse as it was delicious. From vibrant salads to hearty mains and creative desserts, the meal was a testament to the endless possibilities of plant-based eating.

This event was more than just a gathering—it was a celebration of health, community, and the power of plants. We are thrilled to have started the year on such a positive and inspiring note, and we look forward to many more events like this in the months to come.
